WHBY Radio: K-C preemie diaper makes final round of contest

NEENAH – A diaper for the smallest newborns from Kimberly-Clark is in the last round of a statewide contest.

The Huggies Nano Preemie Diapers advanced to the “final four” of “The Coolest Things Made in Wisconsin.”

Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce spokesman Nick Novak says they’re produced at a plant in the Fox Cities. They’re for premature babies weighing less than two pounds. He says they’re specially made to be extremely soft for each baby’s sensitive skin.

It’s an online contest, and the voting starts at 9 a.m. today. It runs through 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14th.
