WFRV: Nominate your favorite local product for Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin

It’s soon to be bracket madness in the badger state. Not for basketball, but for products made locally.

The time has come to submit your favorite products for this year’s Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin. Some past winners include the Plexus Bevi Bottleless Water Dispensers, Pierce Manufacturing’s electric fire truck, a 140 ton Navy crane made by Broadwind Heavy Fabrications, and Uncle Mike’s sea salt caramel kringle.

As long as it was made here in Wisconsin, anything can qualify from machinery, to food, to vehicles. You can nominate your favorite product by going to madeinwis.com between now and September 6th. After that, the top 16 will be placed in the brackets until a winner is announced in October.

This is the ninth year of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest which is put on by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) and Johnson Financial Group.
