Product Description

The Safe Place® Infant Security Transmitter is Wisconsin-made healthcare safety technology with a powerful purpose: helping hospitals protect newborns when safety matters most. Since its introduction, Safe Place has helped protect more than 15 million infants in hospitals nationwide, giving care teams and families added confidence during one of life’s most important moments.

First introduced in 1995, Safe Place was the first RFID infant protection system of its kind, developed with nurses to meet the real needs of labor and delivery teams. The transmitter is worn on an infant’s ankle and uses patented Smart Sense® technology to detect if it becomes loose, loses contact, or is cut. If a potential security risk occurs, the system can trigger alarms, notify staff, and help secure protected areas so teams can respond quickly.

For more than three decades, this Wisconsin-made product has helped hospitals create safer birthing environments, protect their most vulnerable patients, and deliver peace of mind to the families they serve.
